Program description:

Meeting ourselves as Whole and living from that place is our birth-rite. This rite is sometimes veiled by the pressure of a culture that has ignored aspects of wholeness -- such as death and darkness, birth and aliveness, play & innocence, and initiation & purpose -- yet reclaiming  wholeness can be accessed through meeting the natural world..... in such a way we meet the wilderness of our hearts --- the place of natural beauty, vitality, and purpose.

In this immersion, you will make contact with wholeness by exploring the four shields of human psyche with nature ---- specifically the primary, current shield you are working with and any obstacles and gateways within the shield. Our time together will be a blend of medicine walks, yoga, council, sound healing, a blend of solitude and community, guided & silent meditations (seated and hiking), art, and primitive practices for relating deeper to the wilderness.

This  immersion will take place in the expansive desert near Rabbit Valley, CO (nearest airports are Grand Junction, CO and Moab, UT). We will begin at 10:00 AM in Rabbit Valley on Friday, May 21st. The site is accessible by car. We will close our circle by 4PM on Tuesday, May 25th. Below you will find a loose-itinerary of our journey individually and together.

Journey Itinerary

Day 1 Friday:

• 10 AM meet at group camp
• Set up personal campsite
• Introductions & community building
• Teaching of the Four Shields of Human Nature & Land-orientation
• Orientation to soul-walks/hikes
• Solo time
• Evening yoga stretch & community-soul

Day 2 Saturday:

• Group check-in and meditation
• Evoking the West Shield
• Soul/Medicine walk with the south shield
• Storytelling & Mirroring

Day 3 Sunday:

• Group check-in and meditation
• Evoking the West Shield
• Soul/Medicine walk with the west shield
• Storytelling & Mirroring

Day 4 Monday:

• Group check-in and meditation
• Evoking the North Shield
• Soul/Medicine walk with the North shield
• Storytelling & Mirroring
• Evening Yoga nidra & Dream-star circle

Day 5 Tuesday:

• Evoke the East shield at dawn
• Soul/medicine sunrise walk in the East Shield
