For this event, we will gather in the form of Council as a way to spontaneously be with the conversation that wants to be had. Council guides, Thompson and Colleen, are trained in facilitating council circles and have facilitated and practiced with a myriad of communities over the years.

This gathering is free to all, and donations are greatly appreciated. Please sign up here on our website if you plan to come. It will help us in preparing the space and refreshments. We will meet under the stars, either around the fire or in the igloo/dome (weather dependent). The address will be emailed to you upon signing up here on our website.

What is Council?

The practice and wisdom of Council is rooted in our ancestral lineage. Many ancient and indigenous communities gathered in the form of a circle to engage in dialogue for the sake of authentically connection, problem solving, sharing, and strengthening communities. The circle symbolizes the open, safe field for wholeness. Today, Council is adopted in many communities as a way to remember wholeness and connect us to what matters.

The practice of Council offers intention, heartfelt sharing, and agenda-less dialogue with the intent of connecting each member in reciprocity to the circle. Council is a guide and compass that grounds an interweaving of heart, stories, and voices.
