New Year Visioning Passage on the Mountain

Visioning invites us to explore the world beyond the seen, and supports us humans opening toward the liminal and the possible. Wild and wildness refers to the untamed aspect of our psyche/Self, and the swirling creative energies inherent within such colorful passion. Wild-visioning is the opening of this inner wildness into the external container of voice & possibility.

Over the course of these four nights and five days you will be immersed into the passage of the new year atop the mountain and create a sacred space for the creative, clear, and wild aspect of your being to accompany yourself & others (human and more-than-human) into the new lunar passage.

Connecting to the wilderness of the natural world is reciprocal to connecting to the wilderness of our being. Our days together will be taken up with weaving the four shields of human nature & ecopsychology as the foundation for engaging in group council, nature-explorations, yin yoga, medicine walks, gentle yoga and meditation.

LOGISTICS

Location: Off-grid cabin surrounded by National Forest (more specific details, directions, and ride-share information will be sent to the group once registered)

Tuition options (deposit included):

$200 (until 10/1/2018) - Either pay in full via Full Deposit A or you can secure spot via $100 deposit and pay remaining balance by the time of event *CHOOSE DEPOSIT A*

$400 (after 10/1/2018) - Either pay in full via Full Deposit B or you can secure spot via $150 deposit and pay remaining balance by the time of event *CHOOSE DEPOSIT B*

Sliding Scale Option - $400-$1,000 (choose a deposit option and please email us that you would like to do this option)

We will rendezvous at 9:00 AM on the morning of December 29th in Redstone, Colorado. From here we will carpool to the top of a mountain pass and snowmobile for five miles into the mountains and then snowshoe into a remote, off-grid cabin at 11,000' which will be the setting for this retreat.

Heated by fire and lit by solar, this cabin is surrounded by wilderness and vast snowfields of craggy mountains. Four bunks, two twin beds, one queen bed, a warm shower, a snorkel stove, and a full kitchen provide rest and comfort for this immersion, while the forested-earth and expansive vista provide the sacred invitation for contact with a ceremony in nature. The retreat will hold Council as the primary vehicle for our interactions (for more information about Council, please read the description in RESOURCES on our webpage)

Participants will provide their own food and gear. A detailed gear list and logistics letter will be emailed upon registration.
